Happy Fall ASIST members! I haven’t checked in with everyone recently because I have been on maternity leave and just returned in September. Here are some things that have been going on since I last blogged:

The 2012-13 ASIST Manual is now available online – either click at the top right of this blog or you can easily locate if you log in to the ASIST page on the UIAA website.

The Fall 2012 student body isn’t record setting this year, but is only slightly less than last year and very diverse. Here are some stats on the class:

• Total of 4,470 students: 2,065 Men & 2,405 Women
• 725 Minority students (16%)
• 1,063 admitted to Honors (24%)
• 398 International students (9%) 18 countries represented
• 1,103 First-Generation students (25%)

College fairs are also still going fast and furious – in October so far ASIST members volunteered at 38 fairs!
