The University of Iowa Office of University Relations is looking for volunteers to staff the University of Iowa booth at the Iowa State Fair August 11-21. Volunteers will answer questions from fairgoers, distribute Hawkeye football posters and schedules, and apply temporary tattoos. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and others are needed to work 4-hour shifts anytime during the 11-day period. The shifts are from 9-1 pm, 1-5 pm, and 5-9 pm in the Varied Industries Building. Those from the Des Moines area are especially needed to cover evening shifts. A  Hawkeye shirt, fair admission and parking passes will be provided.
