The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has approved a new Criminology track in the Sociology major effective June 1. Students may graduate with the track beginning with the Fall 2011 semester. The track requirements will be fulfilled when a students completes 15 s.h. of electives in designated criminology courses and finishes all other requirements for the major. The criminology courses count as the 15 s.h. of required sociology electives for the major. A few pontential courses for the Criminology track include: Juvenile Delinquency, Deviance and Control, Gender and Violence and Criminal Legal System.
