Hello ASIST members!
Today is the last day of Finals Week on campus, so it is pretty quiet in Iowa City today. I thought I would take a moment to reflect on Fall 2010 and wish everyone a Happy Holiday! It’s been a very busy fall, and with the help of our ASIST volunteers, The University of Iowa was represented at over 100 college fairs all around the country – a new record! Thank you to everyone who was able to attend a college fair – it really does make a difference!
I am already gearing up for Spring 2011, but first will be relishing in a short break for the Holidays. I wish I was going to be going to the Insight Bowl in Tempe, AZ, but instead I will be cheering on the Hawks from my living room. Anyone going to the bowl game? If so, have fun and cheer loud for the Hawks.
One final fun thing to check out if you have a chance – Create your Own Iowa Snowflake from President Mason’s website!
Have a safe and happy holiday and GO HAWKS!
Joanna
Joanna and Chelsea,
I know that I have had a GREAT time representing the University of Iowa. Living here in St. Louis, it was a lot of fun being a Hawkeye fan and sharing the exploits of the football St. Louisans (Clayborn, McNutt, Chaney)…especially when they beat Mizzou!! Happy New Year everyone! Go Hawks!!!!!!
Thanks for your comment John! That must have been awesome to celebrate the Hawkeye victory in Missouri!
